Gordon Castle marries the traditional splendour of a Highland Scottish castle with a subtle touch of 21st Century comfort and is available for exclusive hire.
The Castle boasts eight spacious bedrooms of individual character (each with en-suite bathroom and king sized bed), a drawing room, a study, a billiard room and two large reception rooms. Travel cots and high chairs are available and a number of the bedrooms can be turned into twin bedded rooms. Satellite TV and WI-FI broadband are also provided and there is a lift to the first floor making the accommodation suitable for less mobile guests.
Our guests are looked after by our resident gourmet chef who serves the very best of locally sourced cuisine: Aberdeen Angus Beef, Morayshire Pork, Game from the Estate, fresh fish from the River Spey, shellfish from the Moray Firth, herbs, fruit and vegetables from our Walled Garden….this is just a flavour of what’s on the menu. The day starts with a full Scottish breakfast and a range of fruits, cereals, yoghurts and breads. We pack lavish picnic hampers for our sporting parties and serve afternoon teas with homemade cakes and pastries for our guests back at the Castle. In the evening we lay on a sumptuous dinner served in the Castle’s grand dining room. Although we are not licenced to sell alcohol, we are happy to organise and manage provision from a number of local of wine merchants, breweries and distillers.
