Can I buy tickets on the day? Yes! But you can buy online until 12pm on Saturday 16th May and beat the queues

How do I get to Fochabers? The main entrance to Gordon Castle Walled Garden is situated at the western end of the village of Fochabers on the A96, approximately nine miles east of Elgin and twelve miles west of Keith. From Perth, take the north bound A9 to Aviemore, then follow A95, A941 and A96 to Fochabers. Alternatively, follow the map here. 

Can I take part in the heavy events? Yes you can register on the day for the open heavies as long as you wear a kilt

Is there a bus that takes me directly to the Highland Games? No unfortunately not. The closest public transport will take you into Fochabers Village and from there it is a 15 - 20 minute walk on flat ground. The nearest train station is in Elgin or Keith.

Where do I go for Gig at the Games? Follow the signs for the Highland Games and enter through the main archway. Head towards the Castle and a steward will guide you to the correct parking area. Doors open at 6.00pm.

Can I take my dog? Absolutely but all dogs must be on leads and any mess picked up immediately

Do under 5s get in for free? Yes!

Is there disabled access? Yes we have disabled parking and toilets but please do bear in mind that if the grass is wet it may be tricky to manoeuvre.

What time and where is the Gordon Setter Gathering? The time and location of the gathering will be announced by February 2020
