Kennels Cottage has a very special story behind it. The kennels adjoining this property were the kennels that housed the very first Gordon Setters when they were developed in late 18th century by Alexander Gordon, the 4th Duke of Gordon. Bred as a gun dogs the Gordon Setter was originally black and tan in colour. In keeping with the cottage's history, this property is pet friendly.
This is spacious and well equipped historic cottage is sited on the edge of an expansive woodland, ideal for exploring on foot or by bike during a holiday in Speyside. Upstairs, Kennels Cottage has three delightfully furnished double bedroom, two with en-suite bathrooms, a separate bathroom with large bath and shower.
Downstairs, the large kitchen come dining room is complete with a wood burning stove for a cosy, family atmosphere. Just off the kitchen we have a very useful utility room with fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron.
