The Walled Garden, Children's play-area & Gift Shop - open 10am-4pm 7 days a week

The Walled Garden Café - open 10 am-4pm Wednesday to Sunday

Lunch is served from 10 am - 2.30 pm Wednesday - Sunday.

Afternoon Tea is served from 2 pm - 4 pm Wednesday - Sunday.

Please note that The Walled Garden is open to the public but Gordon Castle itself is not. 

Ticket & membership prices

November - March
Garden + play area - Adults - £4.50, concession (60 or older) - £3.50, children - £2.50.

April - October
Garden + play area - Adults - £9.50, concession (60 or older) - £7.00, children - £4.50.

Adults do not need to pay to accompany children into play area.

FREE entry is provided for essential carers accompanying visitors whose disability necessitates their support.

We offer guided garden tours which must be booked in advance, please contact our Head Gardener headgardener@gordoncastlescotland.com to book. Our guided tours are only available for groups of 10 or more, and we charge an extra £3 per person on top of our ticket prices.

 

Royal Horticultural Society Membership
If you have a RHS membership you are entitled to free access (only applies Thursday's), please have your card when you visit to ensure free

Historic Houses Membership
If you have a Historic Houses membership, please have your card when you visit as you will be asked to fill in your membership details for free admission into our Walled Garden.

BBC Gardener's World Membership
If you have a Gardener's World membership, you are entitled to one free entry with one full-paying adult. Please have your card when you visit to show staff to ensure the correct admission fees is charged.

Become a Friend of The Walled Garden

Directions

The main entrance to Gordon Castle Walled Garden is situated at the western end of the village of Fochabers on the A96, approximately nine miles east of Elgin and twelve miles west of Keith. Coming from Elgin, once you pass Baxters take the next right at the roundabout then first left through the castle arches. From Keith, take the first exit at the roundabout into Fochabers and follow through the village until you see the arches on your right hand side. From Perth, take the north bound A9 to Aviemore, then follow A95, A941 and A96 to Fochabers. Our address is Gordon Castle Walled Garden, Fochabers, Moray IV32 7PQ.

*Top tip - being in the Scottish Highlands postcodes tend to cover a large radius so please don't rely on your SatNav to get you here! If you get lost or aren't sure don't worry,  just call us on 01343 612317 and we will do our best to help.

Once in the castle grounds follow the signs for Gordon Castle Walled Garden unless you are a castle or cottage guest in which case follow your checking-in instructions that have been sent to you.
