The Gordon Castle Highland Games and Country Fair was brought back to life in 2011 by the current owner after some 30 years of hibernation. Owner, Angus Gordon Lennox, was approached by Hamish Davidson, former participant and legendary heavy eventer, to resurrect the annual community event. Rather taken by the romance of the idea, it is now into its ninth year and growing in numbers year after year.

Scotland’s only Highland Games and Country Fair is back and the date for 2020 is Sunday 17th May. Entering its tenth year, the annual family event looks forward to welcoming thousands of national and international visitors to the north east of Scotland. Plus, we may even have a few tricks up our sleeves for 2020… stay tuned and all will be revealed!
